2019 Grand Session Photo Gallery

This year’s 121st Grand Chapter Communication was held June 18-21st in Athens, Georgia. Events included Ritualistic ceremonies, our annual health walk/run, several informative workshops, conferring of the Queen of the South degree for Sisters & Brothers across the Jurisdiction, a Prayer Luncheon with a tribute to Aretha Franklin, a cookout, and themed festivities.

Grand Worthy Matron Deaidra P. Wilson welcomed visiting delegations from Mississippi, South Carolina, and Florida. Grand Matron’s message of “Putting Sister Back in Sisterhood” was accentuated by her graceful & purposeful walk of the labyrinth as Sisters cheered her on. The highlight of this year’s Grand Session was our Grand Queen’s Contest that raised a monumental $220,000+ for college scholarships. This year we also said farewell to our 17th Grand Master Bruce A. James who passes the torch to our newly elected 18th Grand Master Corey Shackleford, Sr.
